Jamie Duffy
Jamie Duffy is an award-winning journalist who has written for national publications including the New York Times and the New Jersey Star Ledger. Locally, she has covered education and crime for The Journal Gazette and WANE-15.
Bilingual in French, proficient in Spanish, she majored in French undergrad and has a graduate degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
Duffy appeared in Investigation Discovery’s Mean Girls “Battle of the Besties” and ABC’s The Genetic Detective, “The Deadly Playdate.”
Michael McAlexander
Michael McAlexander is the Allen County Prosecutor. He is an Indiana University-Indy law school graduate who has spent 41 years as a prosecutor. He started working at the ACPO in 1984.
He spent a year as a law clerk with Allen Superior Court and 1.5 years in private practice. From 1989 to 1992, McAlexander was the director of public safety for the city of Fort Wayne.
After he returned to the prosecutor’s office, he was a deputy prosecutor and then chief counsel in charge of child support and juvenile offenders.
In 2002, then Allen County Prosecutor Robert Gevers appointed McAlexander Chief Deputy, a role he continued to hold under Allen County Prosecutor Karen Richards until he was elected county prosecutor in 2022.
A graduate of Carroll High School, he enlisted in the Navy right after high school and served in intelligence as a Vietnamese linguist. He came back to get a B.A. in political science and history at IPFW.

She knows the criminal justice system from both sides of the aisle. Her son was murdered more than eight years ago, forcing her to deal with the system while living through indescribable grief. She has helped countless families as they sit in court or wait outside the courtroom during a trial. She describes herself as a mother hen to a number of young people who need her advice and help.
